Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby was tonight for Tristan's scout pack. He did really well, taking 2nd overall! Jasen also built a car and raced in the Unlimited division, and he took 3rd overall! So both boys are super happy, and already planning next year's cars!

Buddy loves to play in the water. He loves to run in the sprinklers, and he especially loves to be sprayed with the hose. He'll stand and just get sprayed in the chest, then he'll run and jump up in it and he tries to eat the water! I think it is definetly one of his favorite activities.

And then he takes a nap:

Cahl and I started building these big planters in our backyard about a month ago, and finally got them done this weekend. They look so good! Plus we got all of the trimmed tree branches cleaned up and the backyard is really starting to look done. We are putting down some grass seed now around the edges to blend it all out. I am really happy with the backyard right now. It is all starting to come together like we want it.

Soccer Game

Jasen's team played their second soccer game today. They did really well today, despite the horrible wind, and won. I think the final score was 2 (or maybe 3)-0. Jasen is doing really well on his team. It definitely helps that he is older and has played before. His coaches are always telling me how impressed they are with him.

Football~Rage vs Red Raiders

Today Tristan's team played the Red Raiders. We've played this team before, last year when Tristan was on the Warriors, so I wasn't to scared. And the Rage did not disappoint. They were fired up today after their loss last weekend. They won 20-0. Tristan had some awesome tackles today too. You know I am a proud mama when I am on the sidelines screaming "That was my kid!!"

Today Tristan's team wore blue jerseys so there wasn't a conflict of colors. He is number 16.

Soccer Game

Today was Jasen's first soccer game of the season. His team lost 3-0, but Jasen did really well. He is one of the older kids on his team, and so he did good. I think he's really starting to get the hang of it!

His team is in green, and he is number 7.

That's him kicking the ball

Football~Rage vs Jaguars

Today Tristan's team played the Jaguars. The Rage seemed a little off today, and they lost 27-12. Tristan still managed to make several good tackles though. But not to worry, the Rage will be back next week!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today the whole family went over to Cahl's uncle's house for the big Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun, and the kids all had a really good time.

This is the best picture I got of Tristan- he was always running!

Springs Preserve

Today Cahl and I took our boys and went to the Spring Preserve with Cahl's uncle Mike and cousins Stacey and Andy with their daughter Nila. We also took the other little girls Sondra and Caitie. We were there for about 4 hours and they all had such a fun time!
