Football~ Bonecrushers vs Cowboys

Yesterday was also the first official game of the football season. Tristan's Bonecrushers played against the Cowboys. They played well, but lost 14-0. One of Tristan's old friends is now on the Cowboy team, and so after the game T ran over and gave Josh, his mom and dad all hugs and congratulations. It was nice to see them again after a few years.

Yesterday was Jasen's first soccer game of the season. His team played well, and won 2-0.

San Gennaro Festival

After the football Jamboree, we headed out to the annual San Gennaro Festival. We haven't been for a few years, but it is always so fun. We got there early, around 3, and didn't leave until 9. First thing we did was eat, and it was amazing as always! Then we headed over to the carnival side. We bought all of the boys wristbands, and they more than paid for themselves! The boys rode every single ride, some multiple times. Cahl and I even went on a few with them! It was a lot of fun, and I'm so glad we went!

Tristan's on there somewhere

Super cheesy!

Football Jamboree

Yesterday was the first day of the new football season for Tristan. It was the Jamboree, which is sort of like opening day for the league. All the teams come and register and weigh in all the kids. Afterwards, every team in each division scrimmages against each other in a round robin format, for about 10 minutes each. Our team did pretty well, but they definitely have some things to work on. And I only got one picture all day, because our team was on the other side of the field from where Brinley and I had set up. But it was a nice time. We ran into several old friends whose kids also play in the league on different teams now. So it was good to see them and get caught up.

Today is Hunter's first day at preschool! He was SO excited to go! A group of 5 moms plus me are doing an at home preschool program. Each mom takes a 2 week block, and teaches in their home for 2 mornings a week. Each week focuses on a different letter, and every few months is review. I am really excited to be a part of it, and also a little nervous. But there are only 6 kids, so how hard can it be right??

Waiting for his ride

Hot Tub

Well the hot tub is officially done! We got the last corner of concrete in the backyard poured a few weekends ago. Then we moved the hot tub, painted it, rewired it, and put on some snazzy new hardware. It looks awesome!

5 months

Baby B is already 5 months old! It has definitely gone by too fast! She went in for a check up yesterday and here's where she stands: Weight- 16 pounds 10 ounces. Height- 25 1/4 inches. She is right up at the top of the charts! She wears size 6-9 month clothes already, but she's healthy and doing great. She's eating well, sleeping well, and very active and alert. She's so happy and just loves to spend time talking and playing with everyone.
