Tennis

Jasen played tennis on his school team this spring, and he really enjoyed it. He and his friend were doubles partners, and they did well. He even played against his friends at the other school, which was nice to see and visit with them.

Soccer

This spring, Tristan went and got himself certified to be a soccer referee. He usually reffed 2 or 3 games each weekend, and he really enjoyed it. It was his first "real" job, and we are really proud of him!

Easter and Birthday Weekend

This year we made a last minute decision to drive down to Vegas for Easter weekend. Cahl has 2 cousins and 2 cousins-in-law that are all pregnant right now, and since they were all going to be in Vegas for Easter, this was a great time to head down and see everyone. We left to go down Thursday, and spent Friday visiting with everyone as they made it to town. We had dinner Friday night with Cahl's aunt Ruth, cousin Josh, and uncle Maxx, which was entertaining as always.

Saturday was the annual Gouker Easter Extravaganza! The kids had so much fun finding all the eggs, eating candy, and playing with all their new found prizes. I had a mini meltdown that morning, when all of the family was there, and it just hit me so hard how much I miss living in Vegas and being so close with everyone. It felt so good to see and visit with everyone, and I want to make it a point not to go that long between visits again.

Since Saturday was also Brinley's birthday, we had a celebration for her as well. Cahl's aunt Kathy had gotten a big piƱata for her, and all the kids had so much fun with it. Everyone got her so many wonderful gifts, and she was so happy and excited!

Saturday evening the ladies had a surprise baby shower for Cahl's cousin. It was a lot of fun, and she got a lot of good stuff.

Sunday was a pretty relaxed day. Most of the family from out of town headed back to their homes, and we headed downtown. We went to the High Roller, which was awesome. Then we had cupcakes, then went to the Welcome to Vegas sign. Monday we headed home, after an awesome weekend with our family.
