Today Brinley's College and Career Readiness class took a field trip down to the college expo, and I was lucky enough to get to go. Since the kids are all so grown, I don't have these opportunities often anymore, so it was really fun to get to tag along. She was able to visit with reps from a few dozen colleges and universities, and had a good time.
Tonight was Brinley's junior Homecoming, and she looked beautiful! Her and Eban took photos at Scentsy, followed by dinner at Texas Roadhouse, then on to the dance. She was even nominated for Junior class Princess! Even though she didn't win, they both had a great time!
Cahl and I spent the day at a local car show with the 55 Ford. Cahl only found out about this show yesterday, but it is a fundraiser for prostate cancer research, so if felt very appropriate to attend. Brinley and Jasen came down for a while, along with some other friends, and it was super nice to have the support. We loved seeing all the other vehicles, and at the end of the day, Cahl even won the Best in Show award!!
