Court of Honor

Tonight was the Court of Honor for Tristan and Jasen. They each earned their 50 Miler award from high adventure this summer, Tristan earned a few more merit badges, and they each earned Eagle Palms.

Fin

Last night, Hunter went to the fair with his best friend Dalton. They had a blast, and they each came home with a new goldfish! Meet the newest member of our family- Fin! I can't even tell you how excited and proud Hunter was to bring him home!

Football Game - Hunter

Today was Hunter's first football game of the season. He is on the same team as the last 2 seasons, but this year they have a few new coaches, and over half the team is new. They've worked really hard at practice the last few weeks, and today they played so well! They won their first game, and are off to a great start!

Back to School

Today was the first day of the new school year. Tristan is now a Junior at Rocky Mountain High School, Jasen is a freshman at Renaissance High School, Hunter started his final year at Prospect Elementary as a 5th grader, and Brinley is a 2nd grader at Prospect.

Eclipse

This years solar eclipse happened to fall on Cahl's birthday, and he wanted to be in the path of totality. So we got up bright and early, and drove up to the top of West Mountain, outside of Cascade. We got there around 7am, and waited for the big show. It happened just before noon, and it was really awesome to see!

Jamboree

Today was the kickoff to Hunter's football season- the Jamboree! They played down at Bronco Stadium, and won their scrimmage.

Pack Night

Hunter had Pack night tonight, and he is continuing to earn pins each month! I'm so proud of all the hard work he puts into scouts, especially in the fall, when he misses most weeks due to football.

Concert

The other day, Tristan and I were talking about bands he'd like to see in concert. He mentioned that he'd love to see 311, so I looked up their tour schedule, and it just so happened that they were stopping in Boise today! So I bought 2 tickets, and took him to the show. New Politics opened, and then 311 played, and they both put on a great show! He was so happy to get to see them, and I'm so happy to share that memory with him!

Football Camp

Hunter went to an agility and speed football camp today, and he really enjoyed it!

Scout Campout

Last night, Cahl and the scouts went up and camped at Lucky Peak. They had a coupe of boats, and spent today playing in the lake and water skiing. Everyone had a blast, and it looked like a ton of fun!
