Camping

This weekend we headed over to Juntura Oregon to meet Cahl's mom to camp at Chukar Park. Tristan surprised us by coming home for the weekend, and coming camping with us! The campsite was nice, although there were a ton of wasps and poor Hunter got stung. Saturday we drove up and checked out Beulah Reservoir and Agency Valley Dam, then we drove a few miles up the road to find a hot springs we had heard about. It was a bummer that the hot springs had been torn down, but at least we found the hot water in the ground! It was a nice trip, and I'm so happy that Tristan was able to come along.

Field Trip

Today I was able to go on a field trip with Hunter's Science class, down to the MK Nature Center. It was a ton of fun to learn about all of the birds in our area, go bird watching on the Greenbelt, and on a scavenger hunt around the center! The lady who ran our tour was the best ever, and I wish every tour guide/ field trip host was exactly like her!

Hunter Football Game vs Lewis and Clark

Tonight Hunter's team played their 4th game of the season against Lewis and Clark Middle School. They won again, 32-6. Our boys played great this week, with several interceptions and fumble recoveries.

Brace-less

After a few years, Jasen is finally brace-free! He's been looking forward to this day for several months, and he's so happy to have his braces off for good!

Scout Campout

This month's Scout Campout was a hike into Duck Lake, and Survivorman themed- meaning that the boys plan and pack like they are going on a day trip, then "get lost" and have to make shelter for the night. They usually don't take extra clothes or sleeping bags, and minimal food. It has been a favorite campout for all the boys, especially ours, for years. They all had a great time, and they all survived- even if they were cold and didn't get much sleep!

Hunter Football Game vs Star

Today Hunter's team played against Star Middle School, and came away with a heck of a win- 44-0! Our team is playing so well together this year, and I'm excited to see how they finish the season.

Tristan's Room

Once we got Hunter and Brinley settled into their new rooms, we turned Brinley's old room into Tristan's new room. We painted, got the furniture arranged, hung a ceiling fan, and it looks great- ready for Tristan to come stay!

Hunter Football Game vs Eagle

Hunter's team played against Eagle Middle School today, and smoked them 28-8. We scored on the opening kick return, and never let up! Hunter started Offense, Defense, and Kick Off today, and he only left the field for 2 plays of the entire game. He played hard, and even got a sack today!
