Swimming Lessons

Hunter and Brinley took swimming lessons the whole month of June, and they did awesome! Hunter started as a Level 4, and next year he'll be moving up to Level 5. Brinley started this year at Level 2, and ended in Level 3. 

River Float

This afternoon we headed down and floated the Boise River. The kids had a great time, and Brinley loved the rope swing!

Eagle Island

This evening we headed up to Eagle Island to kayak and paddle board for a few hours. It was a lot of fun, and it's so nice that it's close to the house and we can go anytime.

ASL

I found out about an American Sign Language camp put on by the high school, so I signed Brinley up. She's been learning the ASL alphabet and some signs, and she loved the camp! She came home each day and taught all of us the signs she learned. She loves signing, and I hope she continues!

Father's and Sons

This weekend was the annual Father's and Sons campout. Hunter and Jasen went with Cahl, and they all had a great time!

Happy Birthday

As soon as we were done with Brinley's baptism, we all changed our clothes and headed out to celebrate Jasen's 15th birthday. He chose dinner at Texas Roadhouse, and was completely unimpressed when the staff came out to sing and cheer for him! After dinner we came home and had cake and presents, and it was a great day!

Brinley

Today was a big day for us- Brinley got baptized! It was really nice, with lots of friends coming to show their love and support, and she even got to get baptized on the same day as her friend Claire!

School's Out

Today was the last day of school, and I enjoyed a picnic lunch with Hunter and Brinley. Hunter really enjoyed his teacher this year, Mrs. Leininger, and he is so excited to move on to middle school in the fall. Brinley also enjoyed her year with Mrs Palmerton, and she's looking forward to 3rd grade.
