Happy Halloween

This year both Tristan and Jasen chose not to dress up, but to hang out with their friends instead. But Hunter and Brinley still dressed up and had fun going Trick or Treating around the neighborhood. Hunter dressed up as a Mummy, and Brinley chose to be a Pink Lady.

Texas Hunt

Cahl, his step dad, Jasen and Hunter had an opportunity to go to the ranch down in Texas for 6 days, and they all had so much fun! They spent the first few days hunting with great success- Jasen got 4 deer and Hunter got 2! The last few days they spent in San Antonio, and loved going on the River walk and visiting the Alamo.

Neighborhood Sign

Cahl is the Vice President of our neighborhood HOA board, and one of the improvements they wanted to make to our neighborhood was a nice sign at the second entrance. Cahl worked with another member of the board, and a friend to have the concrete base and stone work done, then he built the heavy arbor, and the other board member built the sign itself. It perfectly matches the existing sign at our neighborhood's other entrance, and it looks so awesome!

Tristan Football Banquet

Even though Tristan's football season is not over, his team held a banquet to celebrate their undefeated regular season tonight.

Tristan's position coach gave short speeches about all of the D-Linemen, and he had really nice things to say about Tristan. He said that everyone considers Tristan to be the heart of the D-Line, and that he often works as the coach's eyes and ears on the sideline- reading the other team and making adjustments with the players and strategies. He said that Tristan never complains about playtime, and can always be found advising and pumping up the other boys, or talking with the coaches. Tristan also received his Varsity Letter and Football pin for this year, which is exciting!

As a Senior, Tristan also got a really nice backpack with his initials and school logo embroidered on it, full of snacks, as well as a collage of photos from this season. Now on to the playoffs!

Hunter Football Game

This morning was Hunter's last football game for this season. His team played well, and won 36-6! Hunter even got to run the ball a few times, and even though he didn't gain many yards, he still had a great time!

Tristan Football Game vs Borah

Tonight was Tristan's last regular season game against Borah High School, and it was also Senior Night. All 24 seniors on the team and their parents were recognized before the game, and it was a wonderful experience!

Our Grizzly's won again 27-21, and after last week's 42-23 win over Skyview, that gives Tristan's team an undefeated 9-0 season! It's been so fun to watch these boys play every week, and to see their hard work pay off, and now they're headed to the playoffs for the State Championship!

Rocky Mountain Homecoming

Tonight was also Tristan's Senior Homecoming, and he had a great time with his friend Kylee and a group of friends. They did their photos downtown at Freak Alley, had dinner at Tucano's, then skipped the dance and went to a movie instead.

Renaissance Homecoming

This evening was Homecoming for Jasen at Renaissance High School. He took his friend Amelia, and they had so much fun with their group of friends. They did photos at The Village, dinner at Olive Garden, danced, then went to one of the kids' house for games.

Hunter Football Game

This morning we got up and headed out to the football field at the crack of dawn for Hunter's game. They played hard, but ended up losing 14-6. Next week is their last game of the season, so hopefully they can pull out one last win!

Hunter Football Game

This morning was chilly and a little rainy, but Hunter's team played a great game and won 20-6! The boys were covered in mud, but so happy!

Tristan Football Game vs Eagle

Tonight Tristan's team played against one of their rivals- Eagle High School. It was a hard fought game, but we pulled out a 31-17 win!
