Fire Pit

With all the extra time we've been spending at home, we've been able to get some of the projects done that we've been putting off for so long. The most recent project was finishing our last side yard. We don't use the east side yard much, it's mostly just been a storage spot for the last few years, but we've worked hard to clean it out and get it fixed up into an area we can use in the future. We got rid of our old shed, got rid of some broken down lawn mowers and bikes, chopped and stacked all of our fire wood, put down some gravel in the wood area, and built a stone and concrete fire pit with pretty landscape rock around it. The fire pit turned out so awesome, and we are so excited to start using it!

Shed

Cahl has been hard at work on his shed. He and Hunter built 2 lofts in it, put in all the outlets and interior and exterior lights, and built all the shelves. He also epoxy painted the floor, hung pegboard, and painted the outside to match our house. Then he bought some work benches and tool boxes to keep everything organized. It looks so good, and it has been awesome to empty out the garage and get everything organized and stored.

Potato Gun

Hunter built himself a potato gun this week, and he couldn't wait to try it! So we headed out to the desert to test it out, and his potatoes shot so far! We also took Brinley's new rifle to sight in her scope, and give her some time to get comfortable with it. She is a crack shot, and nailed her target time after time. She can't wait to go hunting in the fall!

Leslie Gulch

Today was a beautiful day, so we decided to break out the buggy and Jasen's dirtbike and head to Leslie Gulch for a ride. We parked right off the highway, and rode all the way down to Lake Owyhee. The ride was super dusty, but super fun. Tyson loved riding in the buggy, and exploring the lake and rocks.

Easter

This year's Easter was a little different for us- since we weren't able to go to Vegas, but it was a nice quiet day spent at home. We made Peep houses, the kids hunted eggs in the backyard, we planted 2 new bushes in the side yard, and we watched a movie.

Happy Birthday!

This year for Brinley's birthday, she just wanted to have a special breakfast and dinner, and go fishing. Cahl made her mush for breakfast, then we headed over to a pond close by for some fishing. Her and Hunter each caught 2 fish, and had a lot of fun feeding the ducks. After a crepe dinner, we had presents and cake and watched a movie. It's hard to believe that our last little baby is already a decade old! She is sweet and sassy, loves her family and dogs, loves to be active and loves to snuggle. She is growing into a young lady before our eyes, and we sure love her!

Haircuts

Since all of the salons and barbershops are closed, Hunter and Cahl decided to take matters in their own hands, and go with old school haircuts at home. Brinley was so excited to help, and did a great job of shaving them down!
