Tonight's game was against the brand new high school, Owyhee, and it was a heck of a game! It was quite the back and forth battle, but our boys hung tight and squeaked out a 34-32 win! Hunter is continuing to play center, and doing really well!
Pirate Ship
Brinley has been hard at work on a Pirate Ship model for her English class, since they are currently reading Treasure Island. She took a lot of inspiration from the ship Hunter built a few years ago, and it turned out great!
Football Game vs Skyview
Tonight's game against Skyview was a bit of a nail biter. Our boys took an early lead, and barely hung on to it as Skyview played hard, but we pulled out a 30-28 win! Hunter played well, and even started as center for most of the second half.
Football Game vs Centennial
Tonight Hunter played against Centennial, and came away with a big win- 50-8! This week is Rocky's Veteran's Appreciation week, so the players with military members in their families got chosen as team captains this week, and Hunter was one of 3 with an active duty family member. It was pretty cool to see those boys with stars on their helmets! The boys also played really well tonight, and got a much needed win to boost their morale.
Football Game vs Eagle
This week Hunter's team played against Eagle. We got off to a slow start and seemed to struggle today. We lost 27-8, but Hunter is happy he got a few plays on defense today!
Football Game vs Mountain View
Tonight Hunter's team played against Mountain View. It was a tough game, filled with penalties and very questionable calls. Our boys rallied hard in the second half, but ended up losing 40-30.
