Tree Hunting

Today we headed up above Crouch to hunt for a Christmas tree. We found the perfect tree, then spent a few hours at Silver Creek Plunge. It was a fun afternoon, and we all enjoyed warming up in the pool!

BBQ

Cahl has been wanting to build an outdoor kitchen for many years, and this year he started putting it together. He built the frame, complete with built in cabinet with doors and a spot for a mini fridge, put in electrical outlets, poured and polished concrete counter-tops, and wrapped it in stone. My dad came over one morning to help him get started on stacking the stone, and Cahl and I got it finished. The final piece was the tile backslash, and it looks so awesome!!

Tristan State Championship Game

This morning we got to BSU stadium bright and early for the State Championship Football game. Our Rocky Mountain Grizzlies faced off against the Highland Rams from Pocatello, and it was a heck of a game! Going into the 4th quarter, the Grizzlies were up 24-9. After a crazy few minutes, the Grizz won 24-22 to become the undefeated 2018 5A State Champions! This team has been so awesome to be a part of for the last 4 years, and I'm proud of the growth Tristan has made, as well as the friends and coaches he's gotten close to.

Tristan has been playing since his 6th birthday, so this season was a little bittersweet, being his last, but it sure feels good to end his football career on such a high note!

Jasen Elk

This weekend Cahl and Jasen headed up to Salmon for Jasen's Elk hunt. He got a big cow, and was happy to bring it home!

Tristan Football Game vs Coeur d'Alene

Last week the Grizzlies played against Madison High School, and won 28-7. So tonight Tristan's team played in the semi-final playoff game against Coeur d'Alene, and won again 42-14. Next week is the State Championship Game, and we'll be playing against Highland High School at BSU Stadium!

Daddy Daughter Dance

This evening, our Activity Days leaders put on a Daddy Daughter Dance for all the girls and their dads. Brinley was so excited to go with Cahl, and all of the girls and their dads had so much fun!
