Happy Christmas

We spent Christmas this year at home, and enjoyed being home together. The kids all loved their Santa gifts- Tristan got a laptop, Jasen got a rolling toolbox with tools, Hunter got a drone, and Brinley got a huge set of gel pens with notebook and a magnetic map for all of her magnets.

Cle Elum

This month Cahl traveled over to Cle Elum Washington, to check on a fish helix project they are working on. It is such a cool project, and it will be amazing to see when it's done!

City Council Meeting

This evening Tristan's football team was honored by the Mayor at the City Council meeting. She congratulated the team on their undefeated season, and proclaimed December 18, 2018 as Rocky Mountain Football State Champion Day. It was a really cool honor for our school and team!

 

Band Concert

Today Hunter's band class had their winter show for the parents. Hunter has been working had on his Bells and Drum Pad, and his class did great with their songs!

Boys

Today Hunter was ordained a Deacon at church. So now we have a Deacon, a Teacher, and a Priest.

Hunter's Deer

Cahl and Hunter have gone out a few times looking for a deer to fill Hunter's tag, and today they finally found one!

Christmas Party

This morning was our ward's annual Christmas breakfast. It was so nice to visit with everyone, and the kids got to meet Santa!

Happy Birthday!

This year we celebrated Hunter's 12th Birthday by taking him and a few friends to Urban Air, followed by dinner at Freddy's and ice cream cake at home. They all had a great time, and he loved his gifts!

Snowcapades

This weekend Cahl, Hunter and the Scouts went to McCall to help run the Cub Scout Snowcapades event. They had a great time running the events, doing some flag retirements, and meeting Santa!

Dance Recital

This afternoon was also Brinley's winter dance recital. Her class danced to Shake Santa Shake, and she did awesome! She is so dedicated to dance, and practices nonstop. I love how much she loves it, and that she wants to dance forever!

Piano Recital

This morning was Brinley's winter piano recital. She played Jingle Bells, and she did awesome!

Daddy Daughter Pinewood Derby

This week there was a Daddy Daughter Pinewood Derby, and Brinley has been so excited! Her and Cahl worked on her car for the last few weeks, making sure it was perfect! Brinley's car won most of it's races, and placed 12th out of 44. Her car even made it through the Loop of Doom!!

Talent Show

This evening the Young Men and Young Women at church put on their annual Talent Show. Tristan and a few of his friends went all out and performed "My Heart Will Go On" on their recorders. They might not have all the talent, but they sure get an A+ for creativity and charisma! They definitely brought the house down!

Snowman

Last night we got the first snow of the season, and of course the kids were so excited to make a snowman today!
