6 Months

Tyson just celebrated his 6 month birthday, and weighs in at 112ish pounds and is about 30 inches tall. He is super chill, his tail is always wagging, he loves to play, but not for too long, and has become a great member of our family. He sits, lays, stays, comes, and knows where his bed and box are. He still has a few things to work on, especially now that he can see what's on the kitchen counters, but he's doing awesome!

Soccer Game

Today Brinley had another soccer game, and her team played really well, and the game ended in a 4-4 tie. Brinley even scored a goal today!

Tree Thinning

This morning Cahl, Jasen and Hunter went out to the church orchards in Melba to help with thinning the peach trees. They had a good time, and really helped out.

Take Your Kids to Work

Today was Take Your Kids to Work day, and Hunter and Brinley were so excited to go with Cahl! They went to his office for the morning, then Cahl had set up a behind-the-scenes tour of Black Canyon Dam in the afternoon. I'm so happy that they picked me up on their way to the dam, because it was so cool! We got to see the powerhouse, the view from the top of the dam, the spillway gates, and one of the walkways inside the dam itself. It was super cool, and we all loved it!

Soccer Game

Today Brinley had a soccer game, and played hard! Her team hasn't won yet, but they seem to be getting better each week.

Boot Camp Night

Tonight Hunter's scout troop went to a friend's gym for a boot camp workout. The boys all had a great time, and came home tired!

Tennis Match vs Meridian Middle

Today was Hunter's first tennis match of the season, and they played against Meridian Middle School. Our team has about 50 kids, and Meridian only had about 20, so Hunter ended up playing against his own team mate. He lost, but hopefully he saw some things to work on for next time.

Senior Prom

Tonight was Tristan's Senior Prom, and him and his girlfriend Amber looked awesome and had a great time! It's crazy and sad and exciting all at once that we're passing these milestones, but I love watching them happen.

Scout Campout

This month the Scouts went to Celebration Park, and did about a 10 mile hike to Doc Hissom's cabin. They had a great time exploring the cabins, and at Celebration Park throwing Atl Atls.

Piano Recital

Brinley had her spring Piano Recital today, and she did an awesome job playing "When The Saints Go Marching." I'm so proud of her hard work and practice, and I'm excited to watch her continue learning and improving!

Birthday Party

This afternoon, once we had warmed back up, we headed over to Urban Air for Brinley's birthday party. Brinley, Hunter, and 4 of her friends had a great time!

Soccer Game

This morning was Brinley's first soccer game of the season. The weather was rainy, cold and miserable, but the girls played their hearts out! They were up 3-1 at halftime, but ended up losing 5-3.

Happy Birthday

Happy 9th Birthday Brinley! We celebrated today with ribbons and balloons, McDonald's (her ushe) at school, and taquitos for dinner, followed by red velvet cake and presents after soccer practice. She loved all her gifts- especially the sourdough bread, Doodle Crate subscription, Sour Patch Kids, and legos!
