Wrestling Tournament ~ Jasen
Last night and today was the Treasure Valley Tournament for middle schoolers. Jasen had one match last night and lost, and this morning he had 2 matches. He won the first and lost the second.

Another Cast
Tristan went in for an x-ray and check up on his arm today, and he was able to downsize to a smaller cast. He needs to wear this one for another few weeks, and if he has another good x-ray, he can be done wearing casts.
Snow Day
Two days ago it started snowing, and it didn't quit until we had around 7-8 inches. So the kids had a snow day from school, and today Cahl helped Tristan put chains on the lawn mower tires so he could pull Hunter around the neighborhood!
Chandelier
About a month ago, Cahl and I were watching a show about refurbishing flea market finds, and we saw this awesome chandelier. I mentioned how much I liked it, so when Cahl went to Salmon he custom built one! It is so awesome, and I love it so much!
Veteran's Day
Since everyone had the day off today, we decided to go out shooting. We took all of our pumpkins, and some empty soda cans, and the kids had a great time shooting at them. After we got done, we drove down to Swan Falls Reservoir and walked around the old power buildings. It was really pretty, and I think it would be really neat to tour the inside sometime when it's open.
Wrestling Match ~ Hunter
Hunter also wanted to wrestle this fall, so we found a team and signed him up. He's been doing pretty well, learning everything at practice. Then he comes home and works on it with his brothers. They've really helped him quite a bit, teaching and practicing with him. That one-on-one type of instruction is good for him, and it's helped him a lot. This morning was his first wrestling tournament. He was super excited to wear a Las Vegas singlet, and he thought it was cool that they "tattooed" him, by writing his division and weight on his arms! For the kids this age, they split them by age and by weight, so it really keeps the brackets small. Hunter's bracket today only had 3 kids. Hunter lost both of his matches, but he placed 3rd and got a medal. He was so proud of it, and showed it off to everyone. I know that it really helped boost his confidence, and motivate him to keep going and trying.
Wrestling Match ~ Jasen
Jasen's school had a wrestling match today against Lewis and Clark. The school lost, but Jasen won. He had to wrestle someone from his own team, but he's happy because he has been working hard at practice the last few weeks to wrestle his way up in his weight class to try and get onto the JV or Varsity teams. So far he's done well and moved up a few spots, and he's pretty determined to keep moving on up.
