Wrestling Match ~ Hunter

Hunter also wanted to wrestle this fall, so we found a team and signed him up. He's been doing pretty well, learning everything at practice. Then he comes home and works on it with his brothers. They've really helped him quite a bit, teaching and practicing with him. That one-on-one type of instruction is good for him, and it's helped him a lot. This morning was his first wrestling tournament. He was super excited to wear a Las Vegas singlet, and he thought it was cool that they "tattooed" him, by writing his division and weight on his arms! For the kids this age, they split them by age and by weight, so it really keeps the brackets small. Hunter's bracket today only had 3 kids. Hunter lost both of his matches, but he placed 3rd and got a medal. He was so proud of it, and showed it off to everyone. I know that it really helped boost his confidence, and motivate him to keep going and trying.
