Flag Football Game vs Vikings

Today Hinter's team played against the Vikings, and it was a great game! Our boys played so well, but lost 21-25 in the last few minutes of the game. Hunter even caught a pass and ran for 5 yards today!

Take Your Kids to Work Day

Today is Take Your Sons and Daughter to Work day, and Cahl's office always puts on such a great program. Brinley has been looking forward to this year for so long, and she is finally old enough to go! She was so excited that her friend Esme was there too, and her and Hunter both had a great time!

Scout Campout

Last night Cahl and Hunter went to Swan Falls for this months Scout campout. They had a great time camping by the river, and hiking down to check out the cool old rock cabin.

Raffle

Brinley was entered into a raffle at her school library, and she won! She was so excited to bring her new treasures home!

Fence

We decided to do a little re-configuring of our back and side yard, to extend our trailer parking. We took out all the sod in that area, took down the old short fence, moved the planter, and built a new short fence. Our back yard lost some lawn, but our side yard is now about twice big as it was, so parking our trailers and vehicles in the winter will be much easier.

Flag Football Game vs 49ers

Today Hunter's team played against the 49ers, and they won 12-0. The team played really well, and Hunter even went out for a few passes!

Activity Days

Starting in January, my new church calling has been an Activity Days leader. I have the best partner, and together we work with the 8 and 9 year old girls in our ward. It has been so much fun! Brinley has been waiting so (im)patiently to go with me, and now that she's 8, she is officially an Activity Days girl! We celebrated her first time with blizzards and cheese curds from DQ on the way home!

Flag Football Game vs Browns

Hunter signed up for flag football this spring, and since he missed his first 2 games while we were out of town, today was his first game against the Browns. Our boys fought hard, but they took quite a loss today. Win or lose, Hunter is beyond ecstatic to be on the Packers!

Washington DC

This week Cahl had an opportunity to go to Washington DC for some training. He had so much fun visiting several of the monuments and historical sites, and he promises to take me next time he gets to go!

Happy Birthday!

Today is Brinley's 8th birthday! We celebrated with donuts for breakfast, lunch at school, her favorite dinner and cake, and presents.

Easter

Thursday we headed down to Vegas for our annual Easter weekend. We got there early afternoon, met up with some of the family, and headed out to Red Rock for an afternoon hike. We had 5 adults and 11 kids with us, which was fun! The older kids each paired up with a younger cousin, and we explored Willow Springs, then hiked the Lost Creek trail. The kids had so much fun playing in the waterfall and pool, and most of them were soaking wet on the walk back down! We spent the evening with family, and it was wonderful!

Friday we helped some of Cahl's cousins cleaning out their old house and getting it ready to sell. That evening Cahl and I went to Macayos for our 16th Anniversary dinner! Saturday was a quiet day at the park and Baskin Robbins, followed by a movie.

Sunday we had a big Easter breakfast, followed by the egg hunt. The kids all had a great time, and found tons of eggs! The family also did a little birthday song and gift for Brinley, which was so nice and she loved! We headed home around lunch time, and we can't wait to see everyone again!
