Hunter Wrestling Match vs Lowell Scott

This afternoon was the first wrestling match of the season for Hunter, against Lowell Scott Middle School. Our Huskies started the season off strong with a 90-22 win, and Hunter won his match with a pin in the second round!

Happy Birthday!

Today our oversized lap dog turned 1! Tyson weighs in at 174 pounds, and is tall enough that my hand rests on his back when he walks next to me. He celebrated his special day with a trip to the vet for a pedicure, a lot of naps, an elk bone, and a peanut butter sundae!

Hunting

This weekend Cahl and Jasen were able to go back to Salmon and get Jasen an elk. So far they've all done an awesome job of filling their tags, and only have 2 left for the season! Our freezer is getting pretty full, and the dogs are especially happy!

Trunk or Treat

This year's Trunk or Treat was windy and chilly, but that didn't stop Hunter and Brinley from filling their candy buckets and having a great time with their friends! Hunter and his friend dressed up as the SNL Chippendale Dancers, and Brinley went as a donut! Tyson even dressed up as Scooby Doo this year!

Hunting

This weekend, Cahl, Jasen and Hunter headed up to Salmon to try and fill some of their hunting tags. They all 3 got deer, and Hunter got his first elk!

Husky Howl

Cahl and the boys are out of town hunting this weekend, so Brinley and I decided to go to the Husky Howl at the middle school. Brinley's friend came along, and they had a great time playing games and winning candy!

Recognition Night

Tonight was Brinley's Recognition Night for Activity Days. The girls were each asked to bring something they had made during the last few months, and tell the audience about it. Brinley did a great job showing her glow-in-the-dark painted jar, and how it is a reminder to let your light shine for others. They also received chalkboards that they had made for each other, with words describing them. It was so sweet, and Brinley was so excited to put hers up in her room!

Hunter Football Game vs Meridian

Tonight was Hunter's last football game of the season, and they played against Meridian Middle School. 3 of Hunter's former teammates play for Meridian, so he has been looking forward to this game all season. Our team didn't seem to be very well prepared this week, and struggled, coming away with their only loss of the season- 28-0. Not the way we had hoped to end the season, but they played so well and grew so much. Looking forward to next year!

Wahooz

The kids happened to have a day off from school today, so after we had gotten all of our work done, Hunter, Brinley and I went down to Wahooz for a fun evening. They played a round of mini golf, drove the go karts, did the climbing wall and ropes course, bumper cars, and played arcade games. It was nice to spend a couple of hours just having fun and being together!

Linder Farms

Tonight for Mutual, all of the Young Men and Young Women went out to Linder Farms. Brinley and I were able to tag along, and it was a ton of fun to go through the corn maze and play games with all the kids!

Hunter Football Game vs Victory

Tonight Hunter's team played against Victory Middle School, and it was a bit of a battle. Each team scored back and forth for most of the game, until our team pulled ahead at the end and came away with a 36-26 win!
