This morning the boys' games were out at Basic high school in Henderson. The peewee game was scheduled for 9am, so we got there at 7:30. Turns out, the game had been rescheduled at the last minute to 12:30, and our team had not gotten the message. Since it was so far across town, and such a long wait, we decided to cancel the game. So we just hung out and waited till 10, when Tristan's midget game was. His team played the Federals, and we won once again, 25-6. This was the last regular season game for the midget team, so starting next week are the playoff games. The Bonecrushers are looking good, currently sitting in 3rd place at 7-2.
Lake Mead
After the football game today we decided to head out to Lake Mead, since we were so close. We went out and took a scenic drive around to the marina, and once we got there we bought the boys some popcorn to feed the fish and ducks. They had a great time feeding them, and Tristan grabbed a few of the big carp's lips and tried to pull them up. But they were too slippery and heavy and they got away! Hunter was so funny, he would throw a handful of popcorn to the fish and then eat a handful. After they used up all their popcorn, we went over to the edge of the lake and they waded in and splashed around for a while. It was nice and hot today, so they really had a good time!

Football~ Bonecrushers vs Regulators
After the first game, we went to breakfast before the second game. Right before we ate, Tristan finally threw up. I think he'd felt pretty nauseous all morning, but then he finally got it out and said he felt much better. So after we all ate, we went out to the next game. After the team got done warming up, Tristan threw up his entire breakfast on the sidelines. But once he got it all out he felt better again, and went out and played the entire game! And the Bonecrushers won again 38-0!

Football~ Bonecrushers vs Mulisha
The first game of the day was the peewee game against the Henderson Mulisha. Tristan wasn't feeling good the night before and earlier in the morning, but he still managed to play almost the entire game. And he did awesome! Jasen also got a lot of game time today, much more than usual, and he did really well. He got several good blocks on offense. Our Bonecrushers lost 18-6. The last play of the game was for the extra point after the touchdown, and Tristan was the one to try and run it in. He was standing up, pushing through the line, when the refs blew the whistle and called the end of the game. They said he wasn't making any forward progress, which is ridiculous since no one from the Mulisha was even close to getting Tristan down, he was still standing straight up and moving. So oh well. There's always next week!
