High Desert Museum

While we were in Oregon, we went to the High Desert Museum. The kids always have fun there, and this time Santa was there, which had Hunter and Brinley very excited.

 

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year, we headed over to Cahl's mom's house in Oregon. It was a nice trip, and everyone had fun. Especially Mason, who loved to nap on the elk skin and hang out with Brinley in her playhouse!

Aquarium

Hunter and his friend wanted to go to the aquarium, so we took them and Brinley this morning. They had a lot of fun even though the ray and shark tank was temporarily closed. They especially loved feeding the birds!

Haircut

I've been wanting to cut and donate my hair for a few years now, and I finally had it done. I needed to make sure I had enough to donate (8-10 inches minimum), and I wanted to make sure my hair wasn't going to be too short once it was cut. When it was all said and done, I donated a full 12 inches and I'm super happy with the result!

Wrestling

As soon as football ended for Tristan last month, wrestling started. He's been looking forward to getting back into wrestling since last winter, so he was pretty excited. He's also happy that one of his best friends is also wrestling on his team. The school wrestles against one other school at each meet, and they have either 1 or 3 meets per week. So far there have been 6 meets against other middle schools, and Tristan has had 1 match per meet. He hasn't won any of his matches yet, and has struggled a bit, but I am proud of him for still giving 100% and not giving up. There is one more meet to come as well as 2 district tournaments, so hopefully he will get some wins in before the season is done.
