Football ~ Jasen

Today was Jasen's first football game of the season. It was a bit of a rough way to start the season, with a 34-0 loss. But hopefully they'll be better next week.

Happy Birthday!

We celebrated Cahl's birthday a little oddly this year, but it all worked out in the end. For his birthday, the kids and I made him a coupon book of things he likes that we are willing to do for him. Then he also got a new scope for his hunting rifle, which he is excited to use this fall.

Babby Farm

Today my sister took my niece and Brinley out to Babby Farm in Caldwell. The girls had a ton of fun learning about all the animals and feeding them.

Driveway

One of the other projects close to the top of our list, was getting the concrete poured to extend our driveway and for an RV pad. Cahl spent weeks contacting different companies, getting quotes and talking to people before he found the right guy for the job. The crew had it all done in 2 days, and they did a great job. I love how they matched the stamped edge to what we already had, and we are really happy with how it turned out. Right now it goes from the front sidewalk to the back of the garage, and eventually we will extend it back to the fence in the side yard, but for now this is a great start!

 

Football ~ Hunter

Hunter is playing flag football this fall. He is super excited because 4 of his friends are on his team, and he's having so much fun. It's also cool that his older brothers have been spending time practicing with him at home too.
