Party

This evening Hunter had his birthday party. This year he chose to go to Jump Time, and he invited all his friends. There was a good turn out, and they all had so much fun! They all kept having Cahl and I watch them do their tricks, and take photos and videos of them. It was pretty cute. Then they all had pizza and cupcakes before heading home. It was a great party, and I'm glad they all had fun.

 

Tree Hunting

After we celebrated Hunter's birthday, we headed up to the mountains to get a Christmas tree. The boys were all excited to bring their pellet and BB guns, as well as Hunter's new rifle and some other pistols. They had fun hiking around until we found our tree, then doing some target shooting. On our way back, we stopped by the river and had some snacks while we walked around.

 

Happy Birthday

Today we celebrated Hunter's 8th birthday! He requested a birthday breakfast instead of dinner, so we did that and he opened his presents in the morning. He was super excited for everything he got: his new scout shirt, since he'll be starting scouts now, lots of cool toys, a day pack, and his very own 22 rifle!

Little Gardeners

Tonight Cahl was cooking, and he found some garlic in the fridge that had sprouted. So he gave it to Hunter and Brinley and they took it outside and planted it. They were pretty proud of themselves!

Wrestling Tournament ~ Jasen

Tonight was Jasen's last wrestling meet of the season, against Lake Hazel Middle School. Jasen did really well, and pinned his opponent. He was quite proud of himself after, because he had just messed with the kid for the first 2 rounds before pinning him in the 3rd. I'm really proud of how far Jasen has come this season. He has won more than he lost, and worked his butt off at practice wrestling between 2 different weight classes. I think he could be a really good wrestler, and I hope he continues on to Freestyle season.
