Hunter GT Presentation

Hunter is in the Challenge program, and they have been working hard on their Landmark unit. They each chose a landmark form around the world, then had to research it. They made a poster board, flip book of facts, menu, and sculptures of things related to their landmark. Then at the end of the unit, the had a presentation for the parents, so we could come and see all of their projects. We got to go around and meet each kid and listen as they told us all about the landmark they had chosen. Hunter chose Diamond Head volcano in Hawaii, and he did a great job. He loves being in the Challenge program so much, and I'm so happy he got in. The teachers told us how awesome he is to have, and that he loves to do the work. They said sometimes they have to make him go to recess, because he just wants to stay in and do more!

Scout Camp Over

Last night, Jasen's scout troop camped out in our backyard. They had a lot of fun deciding on their patrol mascots and cheers, and playing football in the dark. Then this morning, they all headed down to a tech library for their leadership meeting.

Jasen Wrestling vs Lake Hazel

Today Jasen's school wrestled Lake Hazel. They did awesome again, and Jasen won by pin again.

Jasen Wrestling vs Meridian

Today Jasen's school wrestled against Meridian Middle. The team did really well, and Jasen won his match by pin. There are a lot of kids in his weight class, but he has worked hard and is JV 3. His goal is to keep working hard, and get to JV 1 or varsity.

Football Dinner

Tonight was Tristan's football team's end of the season banquet. It was nice to see everyone, and listen as the players all got some recognition for their awesome first year of high school football. Each position coach got up and called up his players one by one and gave them a certificate and talked a little about them. It's funny, Tristan is the smallest guy on the defensive line, but he got the biggest cheers from his team mates! I'm excited to see the team come back next year as JV.
