Happy Birthday!

This year we waited a few extra days to celebrate Jasen's birthday, since he's still recovering from his surgery. But today he decided he could get down some cake, so we made it happen! Now that he's 14, he won't be in scouts with Cahl anymore and he'll be moving on to the Varsity Team and I know he'll do great things!

Cheer Camp

Brinley has been so excited to attend the high school cheer camp, and it finally came! She was so happy to have a friend with her this year. She went Thursday and Friday nights, and then this morning they practiced for a few hours before their performance. She did awesome, and was so excited that one of "her" cheerleaders went to school with Jasen!

Fathers and Sons

This year Jasen wasn't able to go on the Fathers and Sons campout, but Cahl was still able to take Tristan and Hunter. They all had a great time, and I'm happy that they get to go every year even if they don't take very many photos!

School's Out!

Today was the last day of school for all the kids. They all had a half day, and Hunter and Brinley had a family picnic lunch at their school. Cahl and I went and had lunch with them, then it was time to say farewell to the 2016-2017 school year. Brinley really loved being in Ms. Carruthers' class, and she has learned and grown so much! Hunter struggled this year a little, not academically, but with his teacher, but overall it was a good year and we're all ready for summer!

Field Day

Today was the elementary school's field day, and I was able to go and help Brinley's class get from station to station. It was somewhat rainy and chilly this morning, but it didn't stop the kids from having a great time playing all the games!
