Dance Recital

Tonight was Brinley's winter dance recital. They had a Nutcracker theme, and Brinley's class danced to a hip hop version of Waltz of the Flowers. She did awesome, and I love how much she loves dance!

GT Travel Fair

Today was Hunter's Travel Fair for his GT class. They've been working hard this unit on ancient technologies, and they made posters and booklets to show. Hunter chose to do his project on the Vikings, which is funny since 4 years ago Jasen also did his project on the Vikings. Hunter even had the idea to 3D print a Viking ship, but he didn't have enough time. So him and Cahl found some old Balsa wood that we had in the garage from a project Cahl did back in college, and together they built a Viking Longship! It turned out so awesome! Hunter did great on his presentation, and his teacher even mailed us a card telling us how impressed he was that Hunter had built such a neat ship!

Wrestling vs Centennial

Tonight our boys wrestled against the Centennial High School team. Jasen had 2 matches, and did well. Tristan wasn't able to wrestle this week, since he's been sick.

Centerpiece

Hunter found the top of the Christmas tree that we had trimmed, and he built a stand for it and put it on the dining room table as a centerpiece. He even made a star for it, so I found some little ornaments, lights and a mini skirt for it at the dollar store. He was so excited, and I love his creativity!!

Wrestling Tournament @ Columbia

This weekend Tristan and Jasen had a wrestling tournament in Nampa. They both did well, winning 1 and losing 2 matches.
