Cruise Trip ~ Days 3, 4 and 5

Sunday morning we were excited to get on our home for the next week- the Allure of the Seas! Once we got on board, we set out exploring- we checked out the boardwalk and rode the carousel, mini golfed, played at the arcade, climbed the rock wall, ate, and watched a pod of dolphins before we pulled away.

Monday was our first sea day and we played all day. The kids both rode the zip line and climbed the rock wall, we went to lots of trivia, ice skated, and went to the water show after dinner. It was beyond incredible!!

Tuesday was our second sea day, and it was relaxing and super fun. Brinley loved going to the dance party, ice skated more, and rode the carousel again. Hunter loved dressing up for dinner!

Cruise Trip ~ Days 1 and 2

We got up bright and early Friday morning and flew down to Houston. After we made a pit stop at Rudy's for lunch, we headed on down to Galveston and checked into our hotel. We were right across the street from the beach, so we spent the afternoon either there or at the pool.

Saturday we were so excited to attend our first ever Mardi Gras parades! The first parade was put on by the Krewe of Aquarius, and it was awesome! We collected over 70 strands of beads!

During the afternoon, we ventured over to check out the Bishop's Palace, which is an amazing old home in downtown Galveston. We also did a little grocery shopping, and bought our first King Cake, and the most amazing ribs I have ever eaten- bbq'ed in the Kroger parking lot!

The evening was spent attending the Krewe of Gambrinus parade, which was really cool since it was dark and the floats were all lit up. We ended the day with around 250 strands of beads!

Cahl Work Trip

This week Cahl had an opportunity to spend a few days in Denver for some training. He visited the dinosaur tracks and a museum, and even got to attend his first pro basketball game, and watched to Nuggets beat the Pelicans!

Happy Birthday!

Tristan turned 22 today, and I'm so happy we were able to have his birthday dinner and celebrate with him while he was here. He has grown up so much in the last few years, and it's awesome to see him out on his own, growing even more!

Texas Trip

This year I didn't go down to the ranch, but Cahl, Jasen, Hunter, Brinley, and our friend Adam were able to go. Even though there wasn't as much animal harvesting this year, they all had a great time. Cahl shot 2 pigs, Jasen shot a turkey and an axis doe, Hunter shot 1 pig, and Brinley got a rabbit.
