Alaska

Cahl and Jasen made one last trip up to Wrangell for the year, to do a few repairs on the boat and get it ready for winter. They even got to see the National Christmas Tree, which was harvested on neighboring Woronkofski Island and is headed to Washington DC to sit at the Capitol!

Happy Birthday!

Today we celebrated Tyson's 6th birthday. He had the best day filled with all of his favorite things- steak bites, a special new treat, a nap on the couch and best of all- whipped cream straight from the can!

Homecoming

Tonight was Hunter's last Homecoming, and Brinley's first. They went separately, but both had a good time.

Hunter, his girlfriend Morgan, and their friend Gretchen did their photos at Scentsy followed by dinner at the Matador, and then came to our house after the dance for s'mores around the firepit.

Brinley and her best friend Mia went together. They also did photos at Scentsy, then went to the dance, followed by dinner at Chik-fil-A.

Strongman

This weekend Tristan traveled over to Dublin, to compete in a Strongman competition. He placed 5th in his division, and really enjoyed his time both at the competition and exploring the city.

Young Women's Campout

Last night we had an opportunity to go on an overnight backpacking campout with the Young Women. We had 6 girls and 5 adults, and we decided on hiking into Duck Lake, which only took about an hour. It was really beautiful, and the girls had so much fun setting up their tents and catching frogs once it was dark.

The next morning we had breakfast and enjoyed some time exploring and fishing before we headed back down the mountain. We finished off our adventure with lunch in McCall, and the girls all had a wonderful time!
