Silver City

Today we decided to drive out to Silver City. It's a old ghost town that we had heard was pretty neat, so we were excited to see it. It was not what I expected at all, but it was still awesome. There are still many people who live there, and run little stores. I just love towns like that, and all the history. The kids also really enjoyed looking at all the old buildings.

Swimming Lessons

This week Hunter and Brinley have been doing swimming lessons. They have both done great, and I'm very proud of the progress they've made.

Scout Camp

This summer Jasen was fortunate enough to get to go to scout camp twice. The second time was with our current ward, and he had a great time. Cahl got to go up for the last few days like he usually does, which is always nice. Jasen did awesome this week, coming home with 7 new merit badges!

Rebel

I think most people know that I have been wanting to get a little dog for quite some time now, but I have been waiting for a good opportunity. Well, today I found the right puppy. He is a 11 week old miniature pinscher that we named Rebel. So far he gets along great with everyone, including Mason. He is doing well on potty training too. He will make a great addition to our family, and everyone is excited to have him.

Black Canyon

This afternoon our friends who have a boat invited us to go up to Black Canyon reservoir. It was so much fun, the kids all had a blast out on the tube and with the giant beach ball.
