Reclamation BBQ

Cahl's annual work family BBQ was this evening, and it was nice. It wasn't as hot as last year, and no one got stuck up on the playground like the year before, so that was good! The kids all have a great time playing, and making snow cones and  cotton candy, and this year they even had a pinata.

Football

Hunter is so excited that football practice has started up again. He's on the same team, and so are his friends, so he's happy. I am now the team mom, so that's keeping me busy working on spirit wear and schedules :)

Visitors

This weekend Cahl's cousin Stacey and her husband Andy and their family came to visit. We absolutely love them, and it was so much fun spending the weened with them! We spent one day at Eagle Island, swimming and paddle boarding, and one day at the Birds of Prey center. It was so nice just to hang out at the house too, and just visit while the kids played.

High Adventure

Tristan was invited to go on a High Adventure camp with another Varsity team this summer, and they went up by Stanley. They hiked several miles in to a lake, where they spent 4 days exploring and fishing, and he loved it! He wants to go back and camp as a family there soon!

Camp Morrison

Jasen was also able to go spend a week at Camp Morrison this summer. Since he has gone twice before, this year he did Cullimore, which is geared for older scouts. It includes rappelling and more water and free time, and he loved it!
