Graduation

After 3 1/2 years, I have finally finished my Bachelor's degree! It wasn't always easy, and sometimes I needed a lot of help and patience from my family, but it feels so good to have this life goal completed!

I had not originally planned to attend the graduation in person, but since I have never walked in a graduation ceremony before, and I'm not planning on any more school, I decided last minute to do it. We headed over to Rexburg last night, and spent the morning at my Convocation ceremony, then headed home. It was a great experience, and I'm thankful for the opportunity, and the support I've received.

Top Golf

Instead of a birthday party this year, Brinley asked if she could take a friend to Top Golf. We all went and had a great time, even though it was cold and rainy.

Happy Birthday!

Today our sweet Brinley turned 14! She brings so much fun and sass to our family, and we wouldn't be the same without her!

We celebrated by picking her up from school and taking her to McDonald's for lunch, then went out for sushi for dinner. We ended the day with Oreo ice cream cake and presents at home.

Young Women's Campout

This weekend we had the all young women's campout, down at Celebration Park. We had 16 girls attend, with 5 adults. The girls had a great time hanging out and visiting, learning all about fire-starting, and playing hide and seek once it got dark. We also had a great campfire lesson about how our testimonies are like lights, and how we can use our lights to encourage others, but we can't give our light away.

The next morning, after breakfast we packed up camp and spent some time at the Atlatl range. We even had 3 girls hit the mammoth, including Brinley!

After that we set off on our hike. We walked to the rock house, where we stopped to eat and play, then walked over to Halverson lake to play some more. By the time we made it back to the vehicles, we had walked about 7 miles, and everyone was properly worn out and ready to head home. It was a great time, and a great first camping experience for some of our youngest young women!

Dance Competition- KAR

The girls ended Spring Break with their dance competition, and they did great! Their hip hop routine scored Top First, 1st overall, and invitations to both New York and Hollywood for conventions and work shops.

Their jazz routine scored Top First, a Judge's Choice costume award, and a New York invitation.
