Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRISTAN!! Our first son turned 10 years old today. What a milestone- double digits!

Our top ten favorite things about Tristan:

1. Tristan is so responsible. He often seems much older than he is because he's so aware of what's going on all the time. He keeps a good eye on everyone he's around, and the situation.

2. The way Tristan is with his siblings. Of course, he has lots of normal sibling squabbles with his brothers. But he can also be very kind and loving with them. And he is especially wonderful with Brinley. Those two just adore one another!

3. Tristan's smarts. Cahl and I have often mentioned how we can talk to T about almost anything. He really understands things that most kids don't, and he loves to learn. He's even gone to class with Cahl a few times, and he really enjoys it. He especially loves hands on learning, doing experiments and going exploring.

4. Tristan's love of music. He is a member of his school's Honor Choir, and he loves going to practice every week. He is always singing around the house and in the car.

5. Tristan still loves scouts. He will be entering the Weblos next week, and he'll do great!

6. Tristan can't wait to move back to Idaho! He really loves it there.

7. Tristan is very helpful. Not only to us at home, but also everywhere he goes. School, scouts, sports, ect... We are always getting complimented on how helpful and thoughtful he is.

8. Tristan's smile will light up any room! And he has the cutest dimples!

9. His eyes are the same color as a clear sky. I love them!

10. Tristan is our son! And we couldn't love him more, or be more proud of him!
