Catch Up

Wow, it's been a little while since I posted anything on here. I guess today I will play catch up!

All 3 boys went on a week long trip to Oregon to stay with Cahl's mom earlier this month, from the 7th to the 12th. It was weird having them gone, but I also got a lot done around the house so that was nice. And they really had a great time. I gave each one of them a disposable camera to take along, and when I get them film developed I plan to make each of them a scrapbook of their pictures.

While the boys were gone, Cahl and I went out with Brinley one night. We went to dinner, and then headed down to the Strip. I had gotten us some really cheap tickets to Madam Tussuad's wax museum, so we went and saw that. The one here is much smaller than the one in Hollywood, but it was still a cheesy fun thing to do. Since the museum is right in front of the Venetian, we stood out front for a little while and watched the gondolas go by, listening to the gondoliers singing away. That is another cheesy and fun thing that I would like to do at some point while we live here. Then we walked down to Caesar's and walked through the forum shops, before heading back up to watch the Volcano show at the Mirage. Brinley sat on Cahl's shoulders and LOVED the show! She laughed and clapped so loud ever time it exploded. When that show was over, we walked up to see the pirate ship show in front of Treasure Island, but it got cancelled due to wind gusts. But it was still a fun night out for 3!

Since the boys have been home, we have been busy getting ready for school to start. Tristan, Jasen, Cahl and I all start back up on the same day, so it's been busy getting all of our supplies and books ready and class schedules figured out. This will be Cahl's last semester of school, so that is also really exciting for us.
