Tristan's first football game was last week, but because he missed so much practice while he was in Oregon, he wasn't able to play. Their first game was at Meridian Middle School, and of course, he was there with his team. W all went down and cheered on the LC! The A team played well, and won their first game of the season 19-0. The B team didn't have a game due to a scheduling mix up, but they did scrimmage against the other B team and they played well. It was fun to watch, and it looks like this will be a good season.
On the bus ride back to LCMS
Tristan's second game was a home game today, and unfortunately his team lost. They played the Sawtooth MS, and got their butts kicked 20-0 for the A team, and something close to that for the B team. I didn't get any pics of the game, but Tristan did play in the B game. He is on defense, and he did well. Hopefully after this week's loss, the teams can regroup and gain back their confidence for next week.
