Shirts Lake Campout

Last night Cahl and Tristan did their first camp out with our new troop. They hiked in to Shirts Lake, which is up by Cascade. Because a few of the scouts, including Tristan, have football practice after school until 5, they didn't get to their campsite and set up until after dark. The hike is about a mile and a half, and a lot of it is pretty steep, which as the mama makes me a little nervous to have them hiking that in the dark, but they all made it safe and sound. The views the next morning were beautiful! Some of the other boys jumped into the lake, but Tristan decided not to after he dipped his feet in and felt how cold it was!
