Planter Boxes

Jasen has been wanting to earn money lately to pay for scout camp this summer, so Cahl came up with the idea of building planter boxes during spring break. We wanted to build some for our backyard, so Cahl bought enough wood to make 3 extras, for Jasen to build and sell. Jasen built a few, and we helped him put some ads online. Before we knew it, he was getting orders like crazy! So far he has built and sold almost 40, and he has orders for over 40 more! He's becoming quite the businessman, and is on a first name basis down at the lumber yard. They are even giving him the contractor rate on his materials! It's pretty awesome to see him working hard on building all the boxes, keeping his orders straight, and even delivering some of them. We've had so many people stop by and ask about them, and people have had such nice things to say about him and his boxes, so it's been a really fun project.
