Viva Las Vegas

We headed down to Vegas this last weekend, to attend Cahl's step-grandma's funeral service and also his cousin's wedding. Wednesday night we took the kids to see Mystere, the Cirque Du Soliel show at Treasure Island. It was a great show, and the kids all loved it!

Thursday was the funeral service, so we spent most of the day in Boulder City, and with family. Friday we took the kids to the Springs Preserve. It's been a few years since we've been there, so it was fun to see the new exhibits. The kids even still have their accounts at the Nature Exchange, so they were able to pick out some new things.

After we got done at the Springs Preserve, we stopped by the Nevada History Musuem on our way out. It was cool to see it now that it's fully done, and it has a lot of neat stuff in it. The boys especially liked the show girls!

Saturday was a beautiful day for a wedding, and it was lovely. Kody and Randie got married down at a little chapel on the strip, and had their reception at the Elk's Lodge. It was so much fun to be with family again. I'm so happy that we were able to make it down for the weekend.

Sunday we got in a few more snuggles with the new babies before we had to head home. It was a great visit, and I can't wait to go back again.
