Venice Beach

We decided that today was the warmest and nicest day of our trip, we wanted to spend it at the beach! We love Venice, so we headed north, to take in the sights and sounds (and smells) of Venice Beach. It was so nice to just walk slowly, lay on the beach, play in the water, and visit the boardwalk. We also stopped at Muscle Beach, and the kids had a great time trying out the equipment and watching the big guys work out. I brought a little bottle for the kids to fill with sand, to commemorate our trip. And they were all so excited to get henna tattoos!
