Massacre Rocks

This weekend we met our cousins Stacey and Andy and their kids to go camping at Massacre Rocks state park. None of us had ever been there, and other than being as hot as Hades (as my grandma used to say), it turned out to be really neat! It's right on the Oregon Trail, so there's a visitor's center and historic landmarks all around- including wagon ruts and Register Rock, which has pioneer names carved into it. We camped up on a hill overlooking the Snake river, and spent most of our time playing in the river. We had the kayaks, paddle boards and a raft, and we all had so much fun!
