Today is a bittersweet day- it's Jasen's 18th Birthday! I can't believe that my sweet little baby is a full grown adult! Despite being 17 days late to join our family, he is now ready to take on the world! He refused to talk to anyone other than me and Tristan for the first several years of his life, but now the words that come out of his mouth blow me away with his perspective and wisdom! He has always been a calm and reflective kid, and sensitive to those around him. He has always loved to read and build things, and he loves working on anything with a motor. He is a hard worker and always willing to help anyone out- there have been several times over the years when friends have called him when they're in a bind and he's always happy to rescue.
He is all ready for BSU this fall, and plans to study Biology with a pre-med emphasis, and eventually on to med school. He is so smart and determined, and he will be able to do anything he wants to do!
