Dance Recital

Tonight was Brinley's winter dance recital. She did great, and I can see how much she has learned. She knows what to do and where to go, and she loves dance!

 

 

 

 
 
 
 
 

 

 

Tristan Wrestling ~ Columbia Tournament

Today Tristan had his first wrestling meet, against about 6 other schools. Some even came from Nevada and Oregon. Tristan had 2 matches, and he lost both. He has some things to work on, but I'm happy he's back in wrestling.

Scout Campout

Last night, Jasen's troop went camping up at Goldfork, then they went swimming at the hot springs this morning. It's one of their favorite campouts, since they camp in the snow, but then they get to spend the next morning in the hot water.

Scout Christmas Caroling

This month, our Cub Scouts decided to go caroling at a senior living home. So this evening, a whole big group of them went down and serenaded the older folks, and gave out cookies and visited with them for a bit. They were even asked to do a private show for a gentleman who loves music, but is bedridden and near the end of his days. They sang him a few of his favorite carols and gave him some cookies, and he told them what a great job they did. It makes me so happy when my kids can participate in events like that, and it always chokes me up.

Sledding

We got our first snow last night, so Cahl took the kids to go sledding at Eagle Island for a bit. They had a lot of fun, and they hope it snows again!
