It Saturday again. Today we went to Tristan's football scrimmage, and that was fun. This was our buy week, so there was not a real game. So our team got together with another team and had a friendly game. The picture is Tristan and his friend Jaden. They are friends from school, and have been in the same kindergarten and first grade classes together. Now they both play football, but on different teams, and they played each other today. Both teams played pretty well, with a final score of 12-12. Then we all had a big bbq lunch. There were a lot of people, maybe 50-60, so it was nice to hang out and chat with everyone. And the kids all get to play together and chill out, so it was a really nice time.
After that was done we stopped by the new house (since we were in the neighborhood!). What luck! The appraiser was there. He was just getting done, and so we stopped and said hi. With a lot of luck, our house will be ready to close by the end of next week. Just the appraisal has to be sumbitted, and then the rest of the paperwork and we can sign. So we're still waiting, but things are moving along again. This house is almost completely packed up. Things are starting to look a little empty, but that's alright.
Buddy is doing great. He is now totally house trained, and he knows how to sit and lay down. He is so awesome when we take him places. He minds so well, and always stays close. He are all very happy to have him around.
