I have some sad news. Our beloved Buddy has gone missing. He usually stays with Cahl's stepdad in Salmon and has no problems. Last year he jumped out of the yard a few times, but he always stayed right by the house. However, this year he jumped out on Monday June 29 and we haven't seen him since. While we were in Salmon we called the vet clinics, the police, the animal shelter, put an ad in the newspaper, and notices on the radio. We drove around for hours every single day hoping to spot him. But to no avail, we had to come home today without our Buddy. However, we did come home with a new friend:
meet Angus. He is an 8 week old black lab/ rottweiler mix. There was a family out at the fairgrounds with free pups, and we just couldn't resist. So far he is very well mannered and he gets along well with everyone. We are hoping and praying that he'll be Buddy's little brother.
