Old Mormon Fort

Since the boys didn't have school today, I took them down to the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort. The fort is the first establishments in the Vegas valley, and it was built in 1855. Part of the old fort and wall are still there, and they have also re-created what the fort would have looked like in the 1800s. Now there is a nice visitor's center, with a short movie about how and why it all started, and then quite a few things outside to see. It's not very big, and it took us less than an hour to see it all, but the boys really enjoyed it.
