Tristan's Birthday and Camp Outs

For his big 1-2 this year, Tristan wanted to go to Wahooz for his birthday- they  have an arcade, laser tag, bowling, and more. So we did along with my sister and her family, and all the kids had fun. Brinley especially fell in love with bowling.

Tristan requested in lieu of cake this year, that his dad make him Key Lime pie and Cheesecake. He was so happy that Cahl did!

 

He was also very happy with his gifts this year, which included an iPod nano with the watch band to hold it, a sheet music stand, and plenty of video games and clothes.

 

A few days after Tristan's birthday, Cahl went to work. He is now a civil engineer/ spec writer for the Bureau of Reclamation. He's quite proud of his new office job!

 

Also in mid- January, Tristan's scout troop went on a camp out in Idaho City. Cahl went too, and they all seemed to have a lot of fun.

 

 

 

A few weeks after the PineTop camp out, Tristan also went on the big Klondike snow camp. There was a huge group of scouts, and they all had to build their own snow cave shelters to sleep in. The troop also took a big sled that Cahl built for the Klondike Sled Race.
