Caves and Hot Springs
Today we had a rare day with nothing important to do, so we surprised the kids with a mini road trip. First we headed to Shoshone to visit the Mammoth Cave and museum. It was a cool set up, and the kids really enjoyed walking in to the back of the cave, as well as the museum. It had so much stuff in it, that it felt like you could spend a week inside and still not see everything. After we went to the cave, we ate our picnic then drove down to 1000 Springs resort and swam at the hot springs for a few hours. It is a nice covered pool, and the kids really loved the 2 diving boards and slide. All of the boys went off both the high and low diving boards, and Brinley went off the low one. She is a total mermaid! She swam all over the pool and didn't want any help. Cahl and I were both so impressed with her.
