This year, we decided to spend our Thanksgiving week somewhere warm, so we took all the kids on a cruise! We flew overnight down to Fort Lauderdale, and spent the day at the beach and exploring the boardwalk, then got onboard the Oasis of the Seas Sunday morning. Morgan had not been on a cruise since she was very little, so she was super excited and we loved getting to show her where everything in the ship is.
Our first port was Nassau, Bahamas, and we had a great time walking through all the shops and downtown area, before heading to a beach club for lunch and swimming.
Our second port was Cabo Rojo, Dominican Republic. It is a brand spanking new port, and it's super cute. It is still under construction, but it will be fun to go back in a few years, once it gets more established. We had a great time snorkeling and swimming, and just lounging around for the day. We were the only ship there, so it wasn't super crowded.
The kids absolutely loved going to trivia with Cahl and I, and as a team we won several different times! We also kept busy going to all of the shows- the girls and I even went to Cats (with sparkly ears!), just to say we did. The kids even had front row seats for the aqua show, and they loved every second of it, and ended up soaking wet! We also loved dressing up for dinners and theme nights, doing an escape room, and just spending time together. It was a perfect family vacation!
