Lots of fun

Well, we've had lots of fun this last week. On Friday I went to the dentist for a cleaning. And I found out that I have no cavities. That's right, NONE!! Go Marci! And he said everything is looking really good, so I am very happy about that.

Saturday Jasen had a t-ball game in the morning, and we were all able to go as family so that was really nice. He did really well hitting the ball. And he played short stop and caught a few balls too.



Tristan only had one football game in the afternoon, and it went really well. When we all first got to the field there were some scheduling issues with the league. Apparently they had scheduled two games on the same field at the same time. So we were finally able to use a smaller side field to play our game. We only had 10 players able to come, so they all got in a lot of game time. Tristan played a lot of defense, and he even sacked the quarterback! What?? My son? Oh, yes. It was awesome! And it is on film. So as soon as I figure out how to put videos on here, I absolutely will! So they won their game, 25-13 and it was a lot of fun to watch. Every kid played really well.

On Sunday morning, Cahl and the boys let me sleep in for an extra hour. Woo-Hoo!! It was very nice. And while I was sleeping they set up our inflatable trampoline. It's not huge, and it fits in our big front room. So they had a blast jumping in it.

I also included a new photo of Buddy. I realized I haven't put any pictures of him on here for quite a while. So now you can see how big he is getting. He weighed in at 52 pounds on Sunday.

So that is pretty much our last week. Oh, Jasen was a little sick last weekend with a stomach bug, and Tristan has had it this week. I had to pick him up early from school on Monday, and he didn't go at all today. So hopefully no one else will get it, and they will be back to normal soon.

Family Fun

My sister Saliesh and her husband Kurt and their daughter Paige came to visit last weekend. It was a lot of fun to see them, and all spend some time together. It was a very busy weekend, as usual. Cahl had to work Friday, and Tristan was in school, so the rest of us went downtown to the M&M factory. After that, we went across the street to New York New York and had lunch at the ESPN Sportzone. Then we all came home and took a nap!

Saturday was super busy. Jasen had a T-Ball game at 8am, so they came with me to that. And then we cruised over to Tristan's 9am football game. That was a lot of fun, his team won 39-0. Then we all came home had lunch and rested for a while before Cahl and Tristan went to his other 2 football games. Yes, 2. The second league he plays for had scheduled a double-header for last weekend. The first game went really well. I forget the final score but they won. Tristan even got to run the ball! And he got 2 yards!!! Hooray! They lost the third game, but that's okay. I know they were all so hot and tired by then. But they played a good game and had fun. And that's all that matters. So after all that we went out to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack, Tristan's favorite. It was a nice end to a hectic day.

Sunday we all decided to go to the Springs Preserve. That place is awesome! We spent a few hours walking around and looking at everything before we went for lunch.

Monday Cahl had to work, and Tristan was in school again, so the rest of us went out the Town Square. I had not been out there yet, but I had heard a lot of good things about it. It absolutely met all my expectations and more. That place is awesome. I love the way it is set up like it's own little town, and they have a great park and playground in the middle. And a ton of great stores. So that was really nice to do. After that, they had to go back to the airport to fly home. But it was a good visit, and I am sure glad that they were able to come and see us!!

Hunter read a book, and then fell asleep on the floor when he was done. It was just so cute I had to take some pictures!

Workin at the Car Wash!

Here are some pictures from Tristan's car wash last Sunday. The kids did an amazing job. They were out there for about 6 hours, and raised $650! They all worked really hard (and so did their parents and siblings!!), and I am really proud of them. Afterward, we all went to coach's house and had a pizza and pool party. They all had a great time, and it was a lot of fun for us parents to just kick back and relax and visit. There will be another Car Wash this coming Sunday the 20th, at the same place and time (Craig and Decatur, from 9-3). Our family won't be there because we have company coming this weekend, but I'm sure the team will do just fine without us.

Car Wash!!

Tristan football team is having a Car Wash this weekend, 4/13 from 9-3. It will be held at the Albertson's Express at Decatur and Craig. If anyone is interested, please come out and support our Warrior football team! We'd love to see you there.
