Tonight at dinner Jasen informed us that "it's not good for kids to spend their money, because then they won't have any money to pay for school when they grow up." He says that "kids waste their money on a bunch of stupid toys, and then when they get big, they don't have anything. They won't have any money left for college. So it's better to not spend any money when you are a kid. That way you can go to college." For someone who's only 5, he's got it pretty well figured out!

Maybe he could give the next Relief Society lesson on saving money :)
