During the conversion process, we also decided it was time for us to get rid of our hot tub. Cahl has been applying for jobs, mostly in Idaho, and it will be better for us and the house as a rental to not have a hot tub to deal with. It took a few weeks, and some serious work, but we finally got the hot tub out. Cahl had to saw it into 3 huge pieces, and then we had to lift, maneuver and drag it out. It was a huge pain in the butt, and a huge mess, but finally done. This is after the first big chunk had been cut apart:
and our patio without it:
Also in November, we went down to the Springs Preserve for what would end up being our last time.
Cahl's uncle Mike celebrated his big 6-0 this month, and the family threw him a huge party. It was filled with so much family, and so many wonderful friends. The theme was camo, and everyone came decked out in their best camo! Cahl's aunt also made dozens of beards for everyone, and it was super funny to see so many "Uncle Mike's" walking around! It was a surprise for Mike, and he really got a kick out of it!
We finished off our November with a great Thanksgiving. We spent the day with family, and way too much food, which is the perfect way to spend Thanksgiving, or any day of the year for that matter!
Little Miss Brinley also decided one day that she was tired of having so much hair, and this is the horrible mess I found:
So down we went to the salon for a "big girl haircut" to try and even out and lend what she had done.
The biggest event in November was Cahl interviewing for a job in Boise, for the Bureau of Reclamation. He did his phone interview, and about 2 weeks later they flew him to Boise to meet him in person and introduce him to everyone. It was pretty exciting, and all happened so fast. Before we knew it, we were looking for houses in Idaho.
