September

During September, we kept busy. We spent Labor Day up at the cabin like usual, and it was nice. Brinley is still obsessed with riding the 4 wheelers. She has a helmet on at all times, so she is always ready to go with anyone. This time I was smart enough to stay away from the zip line, and we made it home with no injuries.

Cahl found an old gas pump one day, and he bought is and brought it home to restore and resell. It took a few weeks, but he took it completely apart and cleaned, painted and repaired the inside and out. It looked really amazing when he was done, and he is so proud of it.

We also made a trip down to the Springs Preserve. It's just one of those places in town, where no matter how many times we've been there the kids still love it.

We also attended the annual Kids vs. Parents Kickball game at the school. This was Jasen's first year to play, and he was so excited. Him and all his friends were taunting the parents like they always do, and they always get a kick out of Cahl taunting them back!

I found a bunch of bow ties at a yard sale one day, including this little purple one for Brinley. She fell in love with it, and wore it everyday- everywhere we went. I also started putting her hair up in curlers at night sometimes, and she really loves to have it done.

Little Miss really keeps me on my toes. This is what she set up in the office:

And this is what I found in the kitchen one day, when it had just been too quiet for a little too long:

And sometimes she just goes and goes to keep up with everyone else, but eventually she crashes:
