San Diego ~ Day 6

We decided to spend our last day in San Diego at Balboa Park. I wish we had had more time to go to more of the museums there, but there are just too many to see in a day. We chose the Museum of Man, which is a pretty cool history/ anthropological one. We also saw the Instruments of Torture exhibit. After we had gone through the museums, we had lunch and just walked around the park until it was time to head to the airport. It was an awesome week, and I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to go.

Our plane ride home was kind of interesting- the professional soccer team from Tijuana was on our flight. They were headed to Boise to play against a team from Spain for the Basque festival. When we landed at the airport, the fire fighters did a water salute, and there was a huge crowd of people waiting at the airport to see the players. It was a little crazy, since we had just spent the last few hours chatting with the players and their coaches, who were all really nice, and then having to walk through such a big crowd of screaming fans. It was pretty funny!
